The GT-C13C abrasion and pilling resistance testing machine provides a cost-effective solution to determine the abrasion and pilling resistance of textiles, and it is well received on the global market due to its outstanding properties as demonstrated below.
Features of the Abrasion and Pilling Resistance Testing Machine
1. Our Martindale abrasion tester displays test result in five patterns including 24×24 Lissajous Curve, 24×60 Lissajous Curve, 60×60 Lissajous Curve, 24 Straight Line and 60 Straight Line, while its counter is capable of both counting up and counting down.
2. The abrasion and pilling resistance testing machine is driven by a servo motor, so it is able to work steadily and quietly.
3. For operators’ convenience, our Martindale tester is equipped with PLC controller, 7" color touch screen as well as English/Chinese operation interface, and its top plate doesn’t need to be removed when loading samples.
4. Our abrasion and pilling tester comes with standard sample holders, 9kPa weight and 12kPa weight, and it is built to last. For example, its top plate is made from aluminum alloy, while its rubbing head and counterweight are constructed of stainless steel.
Working Principle
When this abrasion and pilling resistance testing machine works, samples are rubbed against known abradants at low pressures and in continuously changing directions, and the amount of abrasion or pilling is compared against standard parameters.
