The sublimation fastness tester, also called sublimation tester or scorch tester, is used to determine the resistance of textiles to color change and color transfer when subjected to hot pressing, and it fits for dry pressing, damp pressing and wet pressing.
Principle of the Sublimation Fastness Tester
1. Dry Pressing: The dry specimen is pressed with a heating device of a specific temperature, time and weight.
2. Damp Pressing: The dry specimen is covered with a wet, undyed cotton cloth and pressed with a heating device of a specific temperature, time and weight.
3. Wet Pressing: The wet specimen is covered with a wet, undyed cotton cloth and pressed with a heating device of a specific temperature and weight.
