The GT-C98 sweating guarded hot plate is used to determine the thermal and evaporative resistance of clothing materials. The textile testing instrument heats a fixed aluminum or copper, maintaining a constant temperature and heating power. The test is conducted by covering the aluminum or copper with test fabric, to determine the sample's thermal or moisture resistance.
