The tearing strength tester, also known as Elmendorf tearing tester or Elmendorf tear strength tester, is an accurate, low-cost and high-quality falling pendulum tear testing instrument that gives more information in a quicker and easier way. The tearing strength tester is mainly intended to measure the tear strength of textiles, fabrics, paper, plastic films, electrical insulation tape and other materials, and its pendulum capacity includes three choices which are 1600g, 3200g and 6400g.
