Surface flash refers to the rapid spread of flame over the surface of a material without ignition of its base structure at the same time, and this performance is meaningful for piles and fur fabrics. Given this, our surface flash tester is developed and released to the market. The butane burner moves horizontally across the fabrics to determine whether surface flash occurs and leads to any damage of the base structure.
